Buried Treasure

Have you ever discounted something of considerable value? I often wonder why the one servant, with the one talent, hid, and buried his talent?

Matthew 25:18

18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.

Maybe he was too busy comparing and contrasting it against someone elses talent.  Anytime we bury our talent, we are burying a treasure. Maybe he considered what he had being given as invaluable.

Is there something in your life, that you are discounting?

What if the miracle you are seeking is right in the palm of your hand? What if the answer you’ve been waiting for is hidden on the inside of you just waiting to be unlocked?

God desires to give you more, but If you don’t use the ability he has given you it won’t produce, what’s supposed to be produced in your life. God has given us the ability to prosper which means to produce and/or gain.

Deuteronomy 8:18

But remember the LORD your God, because he is the one who gives you the ability to produce wealth, in order to confirm his covenant that he promised by an oath to your ancestors, as is the case today.

If we are not experiencing the manifestation of fruit especially in the areas of finance, maybe it is because we are not using our potential. Maybe we are not utilizing or developing our abilities. Just maybe, somewhere along the way we began to discount what God has given us as invaluable, inadequate, or insufficient.

We must not forget that, “God is able to multiple what is minimal in our hands.”

Trust him today!

Allow him to expose those treasures that maybe laying dormant in you. Allow him to perfect your abilities and begin to start valuing what he has given and entrusted to you.

I believe that God wants to resurrect, what you have buried, discounted, and considered invaluable in your life. The gift, the ability, talent he has given was meant to earn interest (i.e. grow in value), to further the gospel, and enhance your life. As you utilize the underutilized talent (i.e. skills and abilities) in your life, watch as fruit begins to bud and blossom in your life.
